Transmitter/Receiver Combo. The AJA Dante AV 12G-SDI/HDMI 4K Transmitter & Receiver includes both the transmitter and receiver, capable of sending Dante AV Ultra signals at 4K video resolutions via ethernet. Both units support power over ethernet (PoE+).

Design Details. This kit can operate in your conference room, lecture hall, or event space thanks to the compact design, and the front panels provide five LED indicators that display power, codec, system, sync, and HDCP status. Each unit is compatible with Dante Controller software which allows you to route the video, audio, KVM, VISCA, and IR connections via your network to the destination of your choice. As for inputs and outputs, each provide one 12G-SDI and one HDMI 2.0 port capable of supporting signals up to 4Kp60, two USB-A ports (each) to connect peripheral devices, and a mini-USB port to input your Windows or macOS computer. IR communication is achieved using the 3.5mm input and output ports. Last but not least, this kit supports HDCP 2.2 & has a DB-9 port for RS-422 serial control.

Dante’s Inferno. This kit includes Dante AV Ultra Ecosystem, which is 1 GigE networking solution that delivers up to UHD 4Kp60 video at a 0.5 frame latency over IP connection, and also features JPEG 2000 codec. The codec supports lossy and lossless coding and has up to 16,384 components. To control either device, Dante Controller software is available and compatible with macOS and Windows. This software enables you to control the video and audio connections, but also allows you to switch between Dante devices.
