With 25% more cores than the M1 processor, the M2 processor operates with 18% greater performance than its predecessor- 1.4 times faster than the M1.

Retina Display. The first “classic” design carried into this modern machine is the original Retina display found on every MacBook Pro released up to 2019. The 2560 × 1600 IPS panel supports HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG high dynamic range, and 500 nits of brightness, delivering accurate colors and the optional True Tone technology that adjusts the white balance of the screen based on ambient lighting conditions to deliver a consistent viewing experience.

Classy Chassis. It also includes Wi-Fi 6 for faster load times and smoother data transfers, a 256GB internal SSD, 8GB RAM, and a 10-core integrated GPU that operates 35% faster than the M1’s integrated GPU, which should keep render times down even in the most intensive of applications.
