The Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera 6K (L-Mount) brings a full-frame 6K sensor and many more intricate updates to the Cinema Camera line. Key features include:

Active Leica L-Mount

Full-Frame Flexibility. The Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera 6K (L-Mount) sports a massive, 6K full-frame sensor that reaches a resolution of 6048 × 4032, and can be used with a wide variety of film formats and aspect ratios. This sensor allows you to shoot with a shallow depth of field, and 13 stops of dynamic range helps produce sharp images in any lighting condition.

L-Mount Lens Compatible. This camera’s integrated Leica L-Mount is designed to work with both new and vintage lenses. The mount provides a large diameter of 51.6mm, making is compatible with a range of full-frame lenses from Leica Panasonic, and Sigma. Thanks to its short flange distance of 20mm, you can easily add adapters that enable use of other lens mounts without sacrificing image quality.

LCD Touchscreen. The 5" touchscreen LCD provides a quick way to frame and focus, while overlays help you track status, recording parameters, histograms, peaking, frame guides, levels, and more. The LCD can be tilted up for easier view or adjust settings, especially when shooting in high- or low-mode.

Gen 5 internal Color Processing. The updated Gen 5 internal color processing is the same color science used in the higher-end URSA Mini Pro 12K cameras. Record internally using a CFexpress card, externally via its USB-C port to an SSD or flash media disk, or via the full-size HDMI port to an optional ATEM Mini switcher for live streaming.

Mics and Audio. This Cinema Camera provides four built-in microphones that are designed to withstand shock and wind, while maintaining an extremely low noise floor. If you’d like to add external audio accessories, you have access to two mini-XLR inputs with phantom +48V power, a 3.5mm stereo input, and a 3.5mm headphone output.

Camera Control and Power Options. With the Blackmagic Camera Control app for iPad, you have full control over your camera from up to 30 feet away. If you do not have access to an iPad, you can utilize third-party apps such as Bluetooth+ or Trigger, which you can find on both iOS and Android devices. As for powering this camera, we include one NP-F570 battery, but you can also fuel up through the included AC adapter.

No, this rental doesn’t include a battery charger. It only includes an AC adapter.
