Ethernet port for remote control or PoE (cable included)
1U rack-mountable
Full SDI re-clocking and low jitter
Next Level Audio Conversion. With the Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini SDI to Audio 12G Converter, you can seamlessly de-embed audio from any SD, HD, or Ultra SD SDI video connection and output either up to two channels of analog audio or up to 4 channels of AES/EBU digital audio to audio mixers, analog broadcast decks, audio monitors, and more. This is often done in broadcast situations where you need to route the audio from a video source to an audio mixer for processing or recording. Featuring cutting edge, multi-rate 12G-SDI technology, the Teranex Mini will automatically detect and change between all SD, HD and Ultra HD video formats instantly. You can route 4K signals across approximately 70 feet using 6G-SDI cables (not included) or go even further with lower-resolution signals – all with minimized jitter (a disparity between desired signal timing and actual signal).
Efficient, Compact Design. The Teranex Mini can be placed into any production environment, from single operator post-production studios, to large rack-based SDI workflows. Its compact size allows you to easily install it at live events, in broadcast trucks, hidden in cable ducts, or behind television monitoring equipment. A smart thermal design has crossflow cooling to keep the Teranex Mini running without strain, even when rack-mounted.
Professional Connections. Enjoy full-size XLR and high-speed BNC connections, as well as a built-in Ethernet port for remote management or PoE alternate power. You additionally have access to AC power. The XLR connections can be switched between balanced analog or AES/EBU digital audio. The Teranex Mini’s analog audio features an extremely low noise floor so that even analog audio background noise is virtually silent.
