Can I use this on either side of the camera?

It is designed for right-side configuration only. Also note that it does not rotate.

Is this grip only compatible with PYXIS 6K cameras?

It is compatible with both the PYXIS 6K and PYXIS 12K cameras.

How does the zoom rocker work?

The zoom on this grip will work with lenses that have internal zoom motors (often will have “PZ” in the title or will say “power zoom capable” in the lens description).
