Solo Shoot Ready. Sporting an ultra-compact form factor, the Blazar Talon 35mm is designed specifically for run-and-gun, gimbals, or just simply going out and grabbing some handheld footage. It offers precise autofocus with eye tracking, which is not something you see often with an anamorphic lens!

Subtle Silver Streaks. This lens produces tasteful, horizontal silver flares that look modern without being too dramatic, which is a tendency of some of the blue-tinted-flare anamorphics.

Other Notable Features. With a 1.2’ minimum focusing distance, this lens can get close to the action and the fast f/2.1 maximum aperture, along with a 16-blade iris, produces beautiful bokeh. It is built with versatility in mind and accepts both 77mm screw-on filters and 80mm front diameter cine-style matte boxes. Even though it states having a 1.5x squeeze ratio, the optical design delivers something closer to 1.8x to better represent that widescreen cinematic look and delivers a 1.8x-style stretched oval bokeh without sacrificing the versatile format compatibility of a 1.5×.
