The Bushnell Prime 65 Spotting Scope w/ 20-60x Eyepiece is a high-resolution observation rig for long-distance viewing. Key features include:
- 20-60x magnification, 65mm objective lens
- Straight-through viewing
- Porro prism optical path
- Standard 1/4"-20 tripod mount
Optics. The Bushnell Prime 65 uses a Porro prism optical path for a rich depth of field that makes it easier to judge the distance between objects without eye strain, plus it enables a shorter form factor for better handling. It is designed to produce sharp, clear, and wide views that stay bright even in difficult lighting conditions and at high zoom.
Build. The powerful 20-60x zoom provides an approximate 151-51’ field of view at 1,000 yards and its water-resistant and fogproof construction makes it a great choice for birders and nature enthusiasts. This scope includes a tabletop tripod so that you can use it right away. It’s also equipped with a standard 1/4"-20 tripod mount so that you can mount the scope on a rig of your choice. The O-ring-sealed housing ensures the Bushnell Prime 65 can withstand harsh conditions and can be submerged in up to 3’ of water for 30 minutes. A built-in retractable sunshade reduces glare and protects against raindrops.
Handling. With straight-through viewing, this scope is set in-line with the body to make finding moving targets easier and a twist-up eyecup improves viewing comfort. The distance between the eyepiece and your eyes is about 18mm, which is a comfortable amount for seeing the entire field of view without vignetting and is excellent for those in glasses. The focus wheel is positioned in a way that lets you make adjustments without having to take your eye off your subject and rubber armoring provides a secure, slip-free grip.
