Versatile 8K Capture. The Canon Cine-Servo 11-55mm T2.95-4.4 (RF) delivers versatility and portability in one of the shortest servo focal lengths on the market. Natively, this lens’s 11-55mm focal length and T2.95 maximum aperture work in tandem to fully support 8K RF-mount cinema cameras with Super 35 sensors. However, this lens features a built-in 1.5x extender that not only expands the focal length to 16.5-82.5mm and maximum aperture to T4.4 when engaged, but also bridges compatibility for full-frame sensors!
Standard Broadcast Interface and V Drive System. Promoting the same 12-pin camera interface for power and serial data as found on regular Canon broadcast lenses, the 11-55mm features an upgraded V Drive zoom system designed to deliver focus breathing correction and overall improved servo performance. It also has three 20-pin connectors below its servo so that you can connect a system to collect 16-bit virtual image data, and a USB-C connector to facilitate easy setup. Its 16-bit Cooke /i Technology and ZEISS eXtended Data metadata output means you can integrate it into studio systems, and you can remove the servo drive entirely if you’re shooting in a cinema style.
Cinema Construction. This lens was designed with professional production needs as its top priority. It has an 11-blade stepless aperture that produces smooth, pleasing bokeh, while its knurled focus ring features 180° rotation and includes dual film-industry 0.8 & 0.5 pitch gears for focus, zoom, and iris control.
