While this converter lens can be physically attached to any Canon camcorder featuring 58mm filter threads, it is designed specifically for Canon’s 4K camcorders and may not perform as expected when used with HD-only camcorders.

Can I use a filter with this converter lens?

Unfortunately, no. This lens does not feature front filter threads.
