  • How long can I record using the included 128GB SD card?

    • You can record MP4 150 Mbps footage for 110 minutes, 35 Mbps for 440 minutes, XF-AVC 160 Mbps for 100 minutes, and 45 Mbps for 370 minutes.

  • How long will the included battery power the camera?

    • The BP-820 battery will power the camera for approximately 150 minutes.

  • Why are these camera files so massive?

    • The XA50 ships configured to record 29.97p in UHD 4K. If you find yourself struggling to manage the larger file sizes, contact us and a tech will be happy to walk you through the steps to change your resolution to HD.

  • Are batteries or chargers included with the lighting kit?

    • No. The included LYKOS lighting kit is a studio kit designed to run off of AC power, so it doesn’t include batteries or a charger. If you’d like to add a battery option to this package the Sony NP-F970 Dolgin Power Kit includes everything you need.
