Dolly Parton Approved. Not really, but the Portable Dolly System Rental Kit from Dana Dolly can cascade a hefty 100 pounds of camera gear across any two standard-speed 1.5 to 1.9-inch diameter rails or Schedule 80 aluminum pipes, curved or straight, like the 6-pack Dana Dolly Portable Aluminum Pipe Kit 39-inch. Its 16 custom-modified soft polyurethane wheels use ABEC-7-rated precision bearings and a swivel feature to glide its way through a cool camera shot. These wheels are engineered and custom modified to allow the system to be parked on the rail in 100° F weather for up to an hour without flat spotting.

On The Right Track. This dolly system fits onto rails or pipes with its two universal track ends, which fit seamlessly onto heavy-duty stands with a standard Junior stand receiver or 5/8" baby pin, like the Matthews Slider. A center support adds an extra layer of security on long track runs or when dealing with heavier equipment.

Design and Mounting. The platform of the dolly is constructed from heavy-duty machined aluminum, and features a standard Mitchell mount with a 2.75" center hole and an elongated key way. You have access to 6 total accessory mounting points with one 3/8" through hole, one 1/4"-20 threaded hole, and one 3/8"-16 threaded hole an either side of the platform.

Included Accessories. With the included 75mm, 100mm, and 150mm bowl adapters, you can use a variety of ball heads, and for heavier loads, the Dana Dolly Center Support lends a helping hand. To prevent scraping, two foam pads on either side of the support make contact with your rail, allowing you to enjoy a smooth ride. This support can securely load up to 70 pounds of gear, and is compatible with 5/8" baby stud stands, like the Kupo Low Mighty Baby Stand 22.5-inch. The Monitor Mount for Dana Dolly is a convenient accessory designed to secure a monitor to the platform of the Dana Dolly. By attaching to the platform via a 3/8"-16 screw, the mounts sits to the side of your camera gear rather than add more weight to your setup. It can safely hold up to 5 pounds of monitor, and features a 1/4"-20 ball joint mount and a 1/4"-20 monitor mount. FInally, the Dana Dolly Universal Track End Bracket uses two steel and aluminum-built wrap clamps to secure the Portable Dolly to 1.25 to 1.5" pipes or 1.66 to 1.9" tubing. It can seamlessly mount onto a 5/8" stud baby stand, or a 1/8" junior stand, like the Kupo 6.7-foot Low Mighty Combo Stand.
