The DJI Mavic 3 is a dual-camera drone featuring up to 5k video recording and a 46 minute flight time, and is an update to the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Key features include:
5K 20MP Hasselblad and 4K 12MP telephoto cameras
Up to 46 minutes flight time at 42 mph
9 miles line-of-sight control
Unmatched precision and obstacle avoidance
5K Hasselblad Camera. Just like its predecessor, the DJI Mavic 3 has partnered with Hasselblad, this time bringing the L2D-20c camera, a 4/3 CMOS-equipped camera capable of recording 5.1K footage up to 50 fps, or 4K/DCI 4K all the way up to 120 fps. This camera also supports a variable aperture from f/2.8 to f/11, 84° field-of-view, 8-1/8000 s shutter speeds, and a maximum image size of 5280×3956 at 20 megapixels. Combined with the 12.8 stops of dynamic range and Vision Detection Auto Focus (VDAF), the 10-bit D-Log color profile captures 1 billion colors to achieve incredible cinematic footage even at low-light and high frame-rates. If that wasn’t enough, the Hasselblad only makes up half of the camera suite aboard the Mavic 3.
28x Telephoto Camera. Any photographer can tell you planning your shoot is important, and thats exactly what Explore Mode is designed for. Switch over to activate the telephoto camera, a 4K30, 12MP camera with a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor capable of 28x hybrid zoom so you can clearly scout for and film new locations, routes, or subjects without disturbance. Combined, the dual-camera setup on the DJI Mavic 3 allow you to film at high frame rates, incredible resolutions, and great distances, with incredible color reproduction and dynamic range.
46 Minutes of Flight. Under ideal conditions, the Mavic 3 is capable of 46 minutes of flight time, reaching speeds up to 42 mph as far as 9 miles line-of-sight away from the controller. That sounds great, but odds are, you won’t be shooting in ideal conditions. Be sure the keep the drone within eyesight at all times and away from obstacles like buildings for more peace-of-mind, and bring backup batteries with you, just in case. Fortunately, the advanced Return-to-Home (RTH) features on the Mavic 3 will plan the best route back to its starting location and can do so once its battery is too low or it loses signal. Keep in mind, the Mavic, like all drones, performs best in daylight and with minimal weather interference, so plan your shoot accordingly. Need any extra batteries? You can rent spares here.
ActiveTrack 5.0. The next generation of the ActiveTrack system follows subjects whether the aircraft is moving forward, backward, left, or right. Embedded with the newest subject recognition technology, ActiveTrack 5.0 uses multiple vision sensors simultaneously to recognize a subject, differentiate it from other objects, and lock the subject in frame. Mavic 3 is able to track in all directions and adjust tracking angles smoothly for more natural results. Thanks to new environment and subject sensing algorithms, Mavic 3 responds earlier to subject movements and environment information, and plans a more optimum tracking route in advance to record smooth and stable footage. MasterShots will be returning from the Mavic Air 2S for nearly automatic cinematic shots by simply entering a few parameters.
Wireless Communications. With the Wi-Fi 6 protocol, data transmission is even faster, with download speeds reaching up to 80MB/s. In addition, compared to DJI Mini 2, Mavic 3 automatically selects the fastest transmission mode based on the wireless environment without switching to Wi-Fi mode manually, making it easier to use.
Drone Bound to the Included Remote. By default, the drone will arrive bound to the controller that’s included with this rental, so you won’t be able to use your own remote. If you have any special requests regarding controller binding, please contact us.

Do you carry any other versions of the Mavic 3 drone?
Yes! We also carry an upgraded Mavic 3 Cine if you need an upgraded internal SSD and Apple ProRes 422 HQ codec support.
Does this drone work with the DJI Goggles or the DJI Motion Controller?
No. If you’re looking for a drone that does, check out the DJIFPV Drone.
How do I attach the Mavic 3 propellers correctly?
The propellers either include gray markings or no markings, and these correspond to the motors on the drone itself. Attach the propellers with gray markings to the motors with gray markings, and pair the unmarked propellers and motors.
Be sure you have properly attached the propellers before attempting to fly the drone. Improperly mounted, the propellers will quickly crash the drone.
How long does it take for the battery to fully recharge?
When using the 65W charger, about 96 minutes.
