Performance-Focused Design. The Electro-Voice ZLX-15P-G2 is a relatively compact Bluetooth speaker with massive versatility. It is equipped with a 1000W Class-D powered amplifier that drives the 15" woofer and 1.4" high-frequency titanium compression driver. The 90 × 60º waveguide ensures predictable coverage and smooth transitions between high and low frequencies and its 55º monitor angle and 23º kickback position allows it to double as a stage wedge. There are several options for connecting an audio source, including dual XLR-1/4 combo jacks for instruments or mixers, XLR-out for sending the combined mix to a recorder or adding a subwoofer, and a 1/4" mic jack.

Robust Remote Operation. This speaker has onboard 4-channel digital mixing and 7-band EQ control with an easy-access knob, but if you want to monitor a performance from afar you will want to download the free EV QuickSmart App for iOS and Android mobile devices. Configure, control, and monitor up to six of these EV loudspeakers, or mix and match with other Bluetooth-enabled EV speakers, such as those from the EVOLVE or EVERSE series. Separate from app support, Bluetooth is ready to stream background music, whether for ambiance or as your musical accompaniment during solo shows. If you add a second Electro-Voice ZLX-15P-G2, the built-in True Wireless Stereo (TWS) function will stream in stereo.

Power and Transport. A few things to note with this speaker: it is not battery-powered and it does not have wheels (though are three handles built into the rugged enclosure). While billed as a portable solution for events, it is still nearly 40 pounds and requires a certain level of professional handling. At the base of the speaker is a 35mm pole cup with tightening screw to mount on most speaker stands.
