Video, Fuji Style. Reimagine your recording capabilities with Fuji’s very first video camera! The Fuji GFX ETERNA 55 Cinema Camera builds on the brand’s accomplishments in delivering eccentric results, now in a video-centric, powerful camera. Through its massive 44×33mm (55mm diagonal) large-format sensor, this camera supports 4:3 Open Gate and 8K/4K DCI recording, alongside Super 35 and 2.39:1 anamorphic.
Film Simulation and Filters. Offering 20 Fuji-style film stock simulations, the EXTERNA steps into classic looks from standard Black & White to heartwarming Nostalgic Negative. Complimenting the sensor are a built-in variable electronic ND filter and optical low-pass filter (OLPF), which provide immediate exposure stops and reduce deviation in color. The variable ND filter features a dial control that accesses various filters between ND 0.6 to ND 2.1, in total offering 7 stops in .015 increments. This camera also features dual-base ISO, autofocus and manual focus, and over 14 stops of dynamic range (when recorded in F-Log2 C).

Power and Memory. Powered for up to 30 minutes by the included Fuji NP-W235 Battery, this camera supports hot-swapping with V-Mount Batteries or switching over to the DC power input without interruption. The battery charges inside of the camera when connected to an external power source. The EXTERNA accepts multiple memory card options, including CFexpress Type B for 8K/30p recording, UHS-II SD, or even an external SSD. Design and More. Alongside built-in dual 3-inch touchscreen displays, the EXTERNA also features an external 5-inch touchscreen LCD monitor. These displays and monitors giver users simple control access and real-time information and status. The top of the camera and included top handle are equipped with multiple 1/4"-20"and 3/8"-16 mounting points for breezy accessory attachment, like monitors, transmitters, and microphones. Operation of the camera feels seamless and intuitive with 12 total buttons on either side, including 7 customizable buttons to fit your operating needs. Its dust- and water-resistant body competes in harsh conditions and unexpected changes in weather. As for ports and connections, the EXTERNA features 12G-SDI, HDMI, and LAN connections, alongside two microphone and headphone 3.5mm jacks and its DC input for power.
