The Fuji X-T30 III (Black) is a dependable analog-inspired camera capable of 6.2K video capture at up to 30fps. This is a continuation of the X-T30 line that brings significant updates to the X-T30 II. Key features include:
6.2K/30p; 4K/60p; FHD/240p video capture
Updated X-Processor 5 imaging engine
26.1MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor
Physical dials provide SLR-style experience
What’s Changed? While there aren’t many internal or external differences between this XT-30 III and its predecessor, some key additions to its capabilities include 6.2K recording, the updated X-Processor 5 imaging engine, two extra film simulations, and AF recognition for up to 9 individual subjects.
26.1MP X-Trans CMOS Sensor. The X-T30 III’s X-Trans 4 sensor boasts a back-illuminated design and a randomized pixel array that promote high image quality throughout its normal ISO range of 160-12,800. In addition to facilitating exceptional low-light use, the improved X-Processor 5 Engine moves this camera to the next level with an AI autofocus system that can automatically recognize and track up to 9 subjects, including animals, vehicles, and more.
UHD and DCI 4K Video, Too! While this camera’s biggest update is its impressive 6.2K recording capabilities, you can also capture internal UHD and DCI 4K30p video for super slow-mo shots, or clean, uncompressed HDMI output with 10-bit 4:2:2 color. You can handle color in post using the F-Log Gamma or by choosing from 20 of Fuji’s film simulations and grain effects.
Touchscreen LCD and OLED EVF. The 3.0-inch, 1.68m-dot rear touchscreen LCD features a two-way tilt mechanism for a better view. And there’s a wide 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder with 0.62x magnification that remains blackout-free even when you’re shooting up 30 fps. The EVF includes a Sports Finder mode, which marks a 16.6MP sensor-crop area so you can monitor your subject’s movement just outside the shooting frame.
Ergonomics and Build. The XT-30 III top plate includes a shutter speed dial for direct adjustment, a mode dial, and an exposure-compensation dial that lets you select +/- 3 EV in 1/3 steps. A command dial position expands that range to +/- 5 for more control. Front and rear command dials integrate a push function, you can assign a range of settings to the function buttons, and you get a joystick for quick autofocus-point selection. The magnesium-build body is sealed to protect against dust, moisture, and the cold. This camera is powered by an NP-W126S battery and boasts one SD/SDHC/SDXC UHS-I compatible card slot.
