Fast Telephoto Zoom. With a focal length equivalent to 76-213mm, the Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR is perfect for portraiture and sports photography. The fast f/2.8 aperture enables both low-light shooting capability and subject/background separation.

Triple Linear Autofocus Motor. This motor provides smooth, nearly silent autofocus performance for still and video use. Its inner-focusing and inner-zooming design keeps the physical size of the lens the same while ensuring the extremely fast operation required for sports photography.

Optical Image Stabilization. Fuji claims that this dual-element optical stabilization system provides five stops of image stabilization.

Optics. The 16-group/23-element optical formula offers a combination of five ED elements and one Super ED element to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortions throughout the zoom range. The Nano-GI coatings change the refractive index to suppress lens flare and ghosting in diagonal incident lighting, and Fuji’s standard HT-EBC coating helps eliminate traditional lens flare and ghosting.

Professional Build. The barrel’s twenty distinct weather seals make this lens a strong workhorse, even in the poorest of conditions. The included tripod ring enables tripod/monopod use over long periods of shooting, which could be necessary as the 50-140mm tips the scales at 2.19 lb. In this case, pro build quality also means pro weight.
