GoPro HERO11 Black

The GoPro HERO11 Black is a compact adventure camera capable of 5.3K video capture and 1080p streaming. This is the predecessor to the updated HERO12. Key features include:

What’s Changed? The GoPro HERO11 Black features the same 5.3K video-recording resolution first featured on the HERO10, but can now capture still images at 27MP thanks to a new CMOS image sensor. Improved HyperSmooth 5.0 image stabilization ensures more steady footage while not using a gimbal and includes horizon-lock technology that helps ensure your video is lined up properly. When you need extra support, this GoPro is compatible with the same hinge-style accessories as GoPros past and does not require a frame or case thanks to the mounting fingers that tuck into the bottom of the housing. High Frame Rates, High Resolutions. The HERO11 retains the G2 chip first introduced in the HERO10, which provides high frame rates at higher resolutions. Record up to 60 fps at 5.3K, up to 120 fps at 4K, and all the way up to 240 fps at 2.7K, all with 24.7MP stills from video. Like its predecessor, the HERO11 is waterproof down to 33 feet without an additional housing.

1080p Streaming. Use the GoPro HERO11 as a webcam with 1080p streaming capabilities. When connected to the cloud footage can be uploaded while you shoot so you’re always covered. With only one USB-C input and no additional video or audio I/O, however, your connectivity options are limited.

Same App and Shooting Options. While it’s worth noting that the Hypersmooth image-stabilization system has been improved, GoPro’s smartphone apps remain largely unchanged for the HERO11 camera and offer familiar features like TimeWarp, HDR photos, and night lapse video while letting users control shooting modes like burst and scheduled capture. Photos can still be captured in JPEG or GoPro’s RAW format.

Updated Generations Available. Although we love the feature-packed HERO11, we do have the GoPro HERO 12 available at a comparable price. The HERO12 features improved battery life and extended Bluetooth capabilities.

What's the part below the power button used for?

That’s used to drain water from the camera. It’s not a door or part you can access, and attempting to open it will damage the camera.

Do you offer a higher-capacity battery for this camera?

Yes! We offer the GoPro Enduro Rechargeable Battery for HERO9 / 10 / 11 Black as a separate rental item.
This battery provides a 40% performance boost compared to the standard battery using high-performance settings, it charges 13% faster than the standard battery, and, according to GoPro, it can improve camera performance in temperatures down to 14°F

Does this camera have any native audio or video inputs or outputs?

No. The only I/O interface on this camera is a USB Type C port for charging the camera or connecting various “mod” accessories. This rental does not include any mods and will not have any inputs or outputs for video or audio.

Are previous-generation GoPro batteries compatible with this camera?

The GoPro HERO11 uses the same batteries as the HERO10, but no other models are compatible.
