The HERO4: Silver Edition is GoPro’s first action camera model with built-in touchscreen display. Key features include:

Built-In Touch Display. Useful for previewing photos and videos composition, playing back what you’ve captured, navigating menus, and adjusting settings, all with touch and swipe motions.

Multiple Resolutions and Frame Rates. You have your choice of 4K video at 15 or 12.5 fps, 2.7K video at 30 fps, 1440p video at 48 fps, and Full 1080p HD at 60 fps. You can also shoot slow-motion at 100 fps in 960p and 120 fps in 720p.

High-Speed Photos. The Hero4 can capture 12MP photos at up to 30 fps, allowing ultra-fast image capture.

Built-In Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Enables quick connection to smartphones using the free GoPro App or optional GoPro Smart Remote. Bluetooth connectivity consumes less battery life than Wi-Fi.

Ultra-Wide Angle Lens. The ultra-wide angle lens lets you capture the entire scene. There are three field-of-view settings: Ultra Wide, Medium, and Narrow.

Improved ProTune Options. The HERO4 allows you to use ProTune for both video and still capture. You also have access to advanced-color, ISO-limit, white-balance, sharpness, and exposure options.

Night Photo and Night Lapse. Offers customizable exposure settings of up to thirty seconds for single and time-lapse photos.

Improved Audio Capture. Captures clean, high-fidelity sound with nearly twice the dynamic range as the Hero3+ Black.

Dedicated Setting Button. For quick access, a dedicated setting button replaces the HERO3+ Black’s Wi-Fi button.

Redesigned Waterproof Housing. The redesigned housing is waterproof down to 131 ft.

Redesigned Battery. The HERO4’s battery door is on the bottom of housing, allowing you to easily ejecting the redesigned battery.
