The Kessler Motorized Shuttle Dolly Kwik Rail Kit is a modular, dolly/motorized slider system designed for DSLRs and compact cinema cameras. The Second Shooter Plus provides elegant, motorized motion-control while the versatile Kwik Rails give you up to 14’ of track with 42" legs or 20’ of track that can be used for ground-level shooting or adapted to common heavy-duty stands. Is this product natively compatible with 75mm bowls?

This product isn’t natively compatible with 75mm bowls, but we offer the Kessler Crane 100mm to 75mm Bowl Adapter as a separate rental item.

How does the Second Shooter head mount to the dolly?

The Second Shooter pan/tilt head mounts directly to the Shuttle Dolly Cart and we include all necessary mounting hardware to remove the bowl adapter and install the head.
If you need to use the bowl adapter for even more mounting flexibility, we also offer the Kessler 100mm Ball Kit as a separate rental item.

Should I use this kit with cinema cameras?

No. The motor included with this kit is designed to move mirrorless and DSLR cameras with ease. If your shoot requires a larger cinema style or other heavier camera, we recommend renting the Kessler Shuttle Dolly High Torque Motion Control Premium Kit instead.

This looks pretty heavy. Are there any items that will help me lighten the load?

Well, there isn’t any magic we can use to make these lighter, but we do offer carts and hand trucks as separate rental items, to help out on your production set.
