The Leica 35mm f/2.4 Summarit-M ASPH is a budget-friendly wide-angle lens and update to the Leica 35mm f/2.5 Summarit-M. Key features include:
Fully Manual M-Mount. Designed for Leica Digital Rangefinders, the 35mm f/2.4 Summarit-M provides users a moderately wide angle lens for use with M-mount cameras and adapters.
Faster Aperture. While the f/2.4 aperture of this version isn’t going to enable vastly different photo opportunities than its predecessor’s f/2.5 aperture, it’s different nonetheless.
Aspherical Element. The 35mm f/2.4 is the only lens in the Summarit line that utilizes an aspherical element, giving it a smaller physical size with reduced aberrations.
Leica Quality. This lens is built to the same standards as other Leicas, meaning that you’re getting high-quality metal construction with premium optics. Its four-group/six-element design produces images with great corner-to-corner sharpness. This lens’s 6-bit encoding auto-adjusts frame lines and transmits EXIF data to the camera.
