Aluminum 3-Section Tripod. One of the two main components of this Manfrotto 500AH Head/190X3 Tripod Kit is the 3-section aluminum 190X3 Tripod. This tripod system can extend from it’s shortest height at 3.5 inches all the way to 63 inches, and each of the 3 legs are provided with convenient flip locks to secure the height you choose. Four adjustable leg angles open you to a variety of positioning options, and the ground-level adapter allows the mounting plate to sit just 3.5 inches off the ground. The tripod itself can hold up to 33 pounds of gear, but when used with the included fluid head, will only safely hold 17.6 pounds.

Smooth Moves. The 500AH Head from Manfrotto gives you precision, counter-balanced control over up to 17.6 pounds of gear. This aluminum alloy fluid head sports a side lock system allows you to easily attach the QR plate and camera from above the head, rather than from the back. A 3/8"-16 thread is found at the bottom of the 500AH for tripod connection, but also includes a 500PLONG sliding balance plate with a captive 1/4"-20 tie-down screw, and a 3/8"-16 adapter bushing.
