All Nikon-brand lenses are working fine, and many third-party lenses are as well. The exceptions we’ve found are many Tamron lenses. These nine are confirmed to work after the latest firmware update from Tamron: Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 SP Di VC USD G2 for Nikon, Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 for Nikon, Tamron 18-400mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC HLD for Nikon, Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 SP Di VC USD G2 for Nikon, Tamron 150-600mm f/5-6.3 SP Di VC USD G2 for Nikon, Tamron 17-35mm f/2.8-4 DI OSD for Nikon, Tamron 70-210mm f/4 Di VC USD for Nikon, and Tamron 100-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di VC USD for Nikon
Well, first off, lucky you for hanging on to those sweet chunks of Nikon glass! As with all legacy gear, compatibility is a bit hit or miss. We do know that the FTZ adapter doesn’t support autofocus for AF-D lenses, but there could be issues beyond that or there could be no issues at all! If you have questions about a specific lens, just give us a shout. We’ll gladly do some digging.
