We’ve created this Nikon Prime 5-Lens Cine Bundle for renters who want to shoot video using still photo lenses, but need proper lens gears for pulling focus. Bundle includes:
Each lens is fitted with a Cool-Lux LuxGear lens gear on its focus ring. These seamless, high-durometer silicone gears feature a standard 0.8-MOD/32-pitch and continuous 360º of rotation.
“G” is a reference to a G-Type lens and is distinguishable from a standard D-Type lens by its lack of an aperture control ring. G-Type lenses relay distance information to compatible DSLRs like a D-Type lens but rely wholly on electronic aperture control through a camera body.
“ED” stands for “Extra-Low Dispersion” Glass and is a reference to specialized glass used for the correction of chromatic aberrations.
“AF-S” refers to Auto Focus that features Nikon’s Silent Wave Motor or “SWM.”
We’d love to, but its focus ring diameter is too large to safely fit the largest LuxGear lens gear without potentially causing damage to the lens.
A follow focus is not included with the rental of this bundle. However, we do have them available for rent separately in the Recommended section on the left-hand side of this page.
