The 14-24mm’s eleven-group/sixteen-element optical system includes three aspherical elements and four extra-low dispersion elements for sharpness, clarity, and accurate color rendering. ARNEO and Nano Crystal coatings help keep ghosting, reflections, and flares at bay; multiple elements include a Super Integrated Coating to ensure consistent color accuracy; and a fluorine finish on the front and rear elements helps prevent smudging.
