The Panasonic GH7 w/ ARRI LogC3 is a versatile mirrorless camera designed around the original GH7 that provides you with ARRI’s wide array of impressive video functions. Key features include:

ARRI LogC3 Upgrade. Building off the GH7, the Panasonic GH7 w/ ARRI LogC3’s design doesn’t vary at all. You’ll have access to all the same features and tools, but this model comes with ARRI LogC3 installed to give you access to over 80 ARRI looks through the ARRI Look Library for iOS!

GH7 Great. The GH7 boasts a Dynamic Range Boost function to better preserve detail in high-contrast scenes and add dynamic range overall throughout the entire ISO range. Video recording options are expanded with the ability to shoot in 5.8K up to 30 fps in 10-bit and 5.7K up to 60 fps. Additionally, it supports ProRes RAW internal recording and can output 12-bit open-gate RAW to a compatible external recorder. A built-in fan keeps the camera from overheating, so you can enjoy unlimited recording. Phase-detection AF has been majorly improved with near-seamless subject tracking. For action photographers, the RAW and JPEG buffers are much larger compared to the previous generation.

Flagship Features for Content Creation. The latest Venus Engine offers double the power of older GH cameras, with 75 fps burst shooting and up to 240 fps variable frame rate recording. The lightning-fast sensor readout limits rolling shutter distortion and intelligent detail processing smooths fine details, minimizes moiré, and scrubs extraneous noise. Stabilization offers up to 7.5 stops of camera shake compensation. A simple USB Ethernet adapter (not included) will convert the GH7’s USB-C terminal into a LAN terminal for stable live streaming. You also have the option of pairing with the LUMIX Sync app for wireless live streaming. When combined with the DMW-XLR2 microphone adapter (not included), the GH7 unlocks the world’s first (at the time of this writing) 32-bit float audio recording, simplifying your entire workflow and reducing the need for sound level adjustments.

Reliable Build with Practical Portability. Equipped with a brighter LCD screen, a tally light, three video recording buttons (shutter can be reprogrammed), a CFexpress Type B slot (with external SSD support), and a durable, weather-resistant build, the GH7 is packed with thoughtful details to help you produce high-quality content efficiently and with minimal extra setup. With so many resolution, codec, and bitrate options available, the GH7 is an excellent hybrid powerhouse for indie filmmaking, pro and consumer photography, documentary work, and B-cam footage.

Q & A

Can this camera record footage to SSDs?

Yes! This camera can record to Samsung T5, SanDisk Extreme SSDs, and SanDisk Extreme PRO SSDs up to 2TB via USB.

Does the SD card slot double as a CFexpress Type A slot?

No. The CFexpress Type B slot can use XQD cards but the SD slot does not double as a CFexpress Type A slot.

What kind of card do I need to record at maximum quality?

The GH7 has two card slots: 1x CFexpress Type B/XQD and 1x SD. The CFexpress slot is capable (with the right card) of Apple ProRes RAW and 800 MB/s 4:2:2 10-bit footage while the SD slot can handle bitrates up to 600 MB/s. A good CFX option is the ProGrade Digital 1TB Gold 3400 MB/s. Note that cards larger than 2TB cannot be used. A good SD option is the SanDisk SDXC 128GB Extreme PRO 300MB/s UHS-II V90.
