The RED DIGITAL CINEMA KOMODO-X 6K ST Edition is RED’s newest addition to the KOMODO line of cinema cameras and offers faster frame rates, a redesigned S35 sensor, and more. Key features include:

Locking Canon RF lens mount
6K streaming via RED Connect license
Integrated 2.9-inch touchscreen
Wireless control, file offload via Wi-Fi

Q & A

Will I need anything else?

Yes! At the very least, you’ll need a compatible CFexpress Type B memory card, a card reader, and an RF-mount lens.
The KOMODO can be powered by V-Mount batteries, which are not included with the camera by default but are available as separate rental items, and by the upcoming RED I/O module.

Will this brain work with DSMC2 accessories?

No. The KOMODO is not part of the DSMC2 line, and accessories are not cross compatible.

Does this brain work natively with RF lenses?

Yes! This unit is compatible with all RF mounted lenses.

Does this camera have autofocus?

Yes! This camera has both autofocus and manual focus options.
