The RED DIGITAL CINEMA V-RAPTOR Z to PL Adapter is compatible with Z-mount V-RAPTOR cameras and PL-mount lenses.

Is this a locking Z mount?

Yes. This and the included support brackets provide the rigidity needed to handle longer lenses.

Which RAPTOR cameras is this compatible with?

Only V-RAPTOR/V-RAPTOR X/XE in VV or S35. It is incompatible with V-RAPTOR XL, DSMC, DSMC2, and RANGER cameras.

Can I use this on the KOMODO?

While the core adapter is compatible with either the V-RAPTOR or KOMODO, the support brackets are different and this rental supplies the V-RAPTOR brackets.
