RED DSMC2 Tactical Top Plate

The RED DSMC2 Tactical Top Plate is a proprietary DSMC2 camera top plate that allows you to offset a cabled DSMC2 monitor and adds an unpowered 3-pin Fischer port with an array of 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 threaded mounting options. Key features include:

Great for mounting the RED Touch Ultra-Bright monitor on shoulder & gimbal rigs
Provides a plethora of 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes
Features a 3-pin POGO for smart handles, 3-pin Fischer port for start/stop, & 16-pin 1B port for monitors/evfs
Machined, 7075 aluminum construction

Q & A

Will this top plate work with RED DSMC brains?

No. This interface is designed for RED DSMC2 brains such as the WEAPON HELIUM 8K S35 / EPIC-W HELIUM 8K S35 / SCARLET-W / Raven. It IS NOT compatible with RED Dragon EPIC/SCARLET or earlier generation brains.

What firmware should the attached RED brain be operating on?

This top plate is only compatible with RED DSMC2 brains running firmware v7.0.0 or later.
