Powerful Magnetic Mount. The RigWheels MAG-Tight Windshield Mount lets you secure a small-format camera, like an action cam or DSLR, to a windshield or steel surface. Simply connect the camera’s shoe mount to one of the magnetic disks’ mini grip heads with shoe-mount adapter, and then place the second magnetic disk on the other side of the glass for a strong, instant bond. If you’re mounting to a steel surface, simply use one of the included magnets. This mount includes a second set of disk magnets with a 10” articulating friction support arm and 1/4"-20 barrel connector for even greater stability. This mount gives you up to 50 pounds of pull resistance when its magnets are bonded and the overall gear payload is 8 pounds.

High-Quality Build. Each of this mount’s rare-earth magnetic disks has a special soft rubber coating that prevents slippage and protects the surface you’re mounting on while maintaining the disk magnets’ strength. The mini grip head mount includes 1/4"-20, 5/16”-18, and 3/8"-16 mounting threads and 3/8" pass-through holes, and attaches to the camera with a shoe adapter.

Compatibility. This mount is compatible with cameras featuring a threaded mount on the bottom of the camera as well as a shoe mount on the top of the camera. Using only one of the two mounting points will drastically reduce the stability of the camera, and we do not recommend it.
