Its speed also means it’s great for low-light shooting and for depth-of-field control when using selective-focusing techniques. You can also use it on DX cameras, on which it’ll provide a 127.55mm equivalent focal length.

Advanced Optical Design. This lens’s seven-group/nine-element optical formula includes a hybrid aspherical element that minimizes distortion and spherical aberrations while ensuring sharpness across the frame. Rokinon has applied an Ultra Multi-Coating to the lens elements to further combat ghosting and flaring, and to maintain contrast and color balance.

Ultrasonic Dual Linear Autofocus. The 85mm’s Dual Linear motor delivers fast, accurate, and quiet autofocus performance, while its AF/MF switch lets you easily switch to manual-focus mode for greater precision. This internal-focusing design means this lens maintains its length and its front doesn’t rotate during focusing.
