Stepping Motor. Equipped with a stepping AF motor, this lens has admirable autofocus speeds for videography. This is complemented by a manual aperture ring and an AF/MF toggle with a raised arc shape for fast switching. Please note that the aperture ring is not de-clickable and has 1/3-stop clicks.

This lens captures an immense sense of space without the distortion and has a close focusing distance of under 10" for beautiful closeups that still include the surrounding environment.
