Nikon Z System. The Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary was designed specifically for cameras in Nikon’s Z-mount system. Z-mount lenses only work with Z-mount cameras, and Z-mount cameras are only compatible with Z-mount lenses.

Fast f/1.4 Aperture Normal Range. This lens provides a 45mm equivalent focal length on crop-frame Nikon Z-mount cameras. The combination of a normal focal range and fast aperture makes this lens ideal for portraiture where subject-background isolation is needed and a perfect choice for low-light shooting.

High-Quality Optics. The Sigma 30mm 1.4 packs a lot of powerful optics into a small package. Two aspherical elements are combined with a high-refractive index element to help eliminate spherical aberrations and distortions, while increasing sharpness and resolution. A Super Multi-Layer Coating applied to all lens elements minimizes lens flare and ghosting, while a rounded nine-blade aperture provides pleasing bokeh.

Stepping Autofocus Motor. The built-in stepping autofocus motor provides fast, accurate, and quiet operation in a wide variety of shooting situations. You can also manually override the autofocus motor at any time by rotating the focusing ring, giving you quick fine-tuning ability.
