Offering a number of improvements to Sigma’s first-generation 35mm f/1.2 mirrorless camera lens, the Sigma 35mm f/1.2 DG II Art for L-Mount is engineered to take your wide-angle adventures to the next level. Not only is the DG II Art 30% lighter and 20% shorter than its predecessor, it delivers improved optical performance, an advanced HLA-driven autofocus motor, and further reduced flare, ghosting, & focus breathing.

Fast Aperture Wide-Angle Prime. The DG II Art’s fast f/1.2 aperture makes it ideal for shooting in difficult light, achieving shallow depth of field, and giving you ample background separation for portraiture. The rounded eleven-blade diaphragm helps produce large, pleasing bokeh. Using an APS-C sensor camera? You’ll have a focal length equivalent to 53.6mm.

Dual High-Response Linear Actuator AF. Equipped with an advanced High-response Linear Actuator (HLA) autofocus motor, this lens provides smooth, silent, and accurate autofocus. Driving each of the two focus groups by an individual linear motor, this system also utilizes multiple magnets in each motor to keep the lens compact without sacrificing high thrust.

Optics Matter. Along with the physical design overhaul, this lens’s inner workings also faced notable improvements. This seventeen-group thirteen-element lens combines four double-sided aspherical elements and one Special Low Dispersion (SLD) element. Clarity and sharpness are propelled to the top of the priority list with the introduction of thinner lens elements.

Durable Build & Design. The Sigma 35mm’s Thermally Stable Composite build is dust- and splash-resistant, so that you can use it in adverse conditions. It also boasts a brass bayonet mount for maximum durability. The front-most lens element is glossed with an oil- and water-repellent coating to keep your imaging clean and haze-free.
