The SmallHD OLED 22" 4K Reference Pro Monitor is a large-format studio monitor that can ingest and display 4K video via one of four 12-SDI inputs or one HDMI 2.0 Type-A input. Key features include:
UHD 4K, large-format, studio monitor
115% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio
Redesigned PageOS 4 operating system
AC power only
What’s Different? When comparing this monitor to the SmallHD Cine 24" 4K High Bright Pro Monitor, you’ll see the trade off of a much dimmer screen for a considerably higher contrast ratio and true 10-bit color depth. This OLED monitor is ideal for studio shoots or photo/video editing where accuracy is more important than brightness but can be adapted to outdoor use with the separately available sun hood.
Not So Small. More than HD. The SmallHD OLED 22" 4K Reference Pro Monitor is not really all that small and now goes beyond HD to 4K with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio with an absolute black point, and 115% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. This large 4K’s 22-inch display makes it an ideal choice for a studio monitoring or editing.
Firmware? Firmhere. This monitor includes the PageOS 5 firmware that contains all of the features needed to keep things rolling. This updated firmware offers quick and repeatable setups, with full control over any and all display tools and settings in a jiffy.
HDMI or SDI Input. This monitor includes four 12G-SDI inputs as well as one HDMI input with loop-through capability. Please note, the SmallHD 22" monitor has limited video output support and may not be compatible with all recorders / switchers.
Other Notable Features. There is one USB Type C and one USB Type-A port available at the rear that can power accessories with a maximum draw of 5V per port. A second Type-A output is one the front of the monitor. The OLED 22" can be powered via an included AC adapter, and the unit features top handle to move the monitor around set and feet to keep it upright. We add a Matthew’s 5/8" stand mount to this rental as well. The 5.0.0 and 5.0.1 firmware updates now support multi-view output as well.
