Yes! If you’re powering the camera over ethernet, you won’t be able to use the internal clip recording or playback, media initialization or update, and OPTICAL output features. You’ll need to use the included AC adapter to use those features.
Do not connect a DC power cable to the camera’s DC IN connector when using PoE++ power delivery with soft authentication (LLDP) enabled.
