Exceptional for Action. To keep up with the demands of wildlife and action shooting – or even just your kids and pets – the Sony FE 50-150mm is equipped with four precision linear motors that can handle the 120 fps max burst speeds of cameras like the a9 III. Focus breathing has been suppressed for a better video capture experience and the aperture ring can be de-clicked for smooth, silent aperture changes. There are two Focus Hold buttons that can also be assigned to another setting and the zoom ring’s tightness can be adjusted.
Physical Features. The hood on this lens is equipped with a filter slot for making adjustments easily to variable ND or circular polarizing filters. The tripod foot is not only rotatable but removable as well. Please note that the foot on this lens is not natively Arca-Swiss compatible and an additional plate is needed for pairing with tripod heads.
