Light As A Feather. Coming in at just under 9 ounces, this Sony ILX-LR1 Industrial Camera is a great fit for airborne adventures, even smaller drones. Less weight on your drone can extend flight times, which can help speed up those high-altitude shoots. Although designed for use with drones, the 4K imagery and high resolution sensor make this a great addition to any rig.
High-Resolution Sensor. This camera sports a back-illuminated 61MP full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor, bringing exceptional sensitivity, resolution, and dynamic range to life. An advanced BIONZ XR image processing engine operates in real time to produce sharp colors and low noise for both photography and videography.
Compatibility and Power. A wide range of E-mount lenses can be used with the ILX-LR1, including medium telephoto lengths. As for power, this battery-less camera is fueled by pure DC power, and for visual status checks, power and recording indicators are available.
Mounting and Control Options. 20 screw mounts can be found on each surface of the camera, and the micro-HDMI port, USB-C port, and button controls are all grouped together on the camera to maximize mounting options. Outside of button controls, this camera comes equipped with Sony Camera Remote SDK, which enables users to control the camera setting remotely from a computer.
