The TASCAM IF-MA64/EX 64-Channel MADI Interface Card is an add-on interface designed to bridge compatibility between select TASCAM recorders and mixers, like the Sonicview 16XP, and select Blackmagic MADI switchers and converters. This interface card allows users to send and receive uncompressed digital audio signals to up to 64 channels. It slides into the expansion slot of the recorder and secures to the chassis with the provided screws and dual-sided screwdriver.

We ship the card installed in a hard case and include a dual-sided driver. Before installation, you will need to remove the 2 screws that secure the card in its casing to remove it, then slide it into place in the expansion slot on your mixer. Once the card is entirely in the mixer, you’ll use the two provided screws and driver to secure it to the chassis.
This is a fragile and a circuit-exposed product. To prevent any damage when shipping the card back to us, we ask that you remove the card from your mixer, and replace it back in the case we shipped it to you in, secured with the included screws.
Please note that this driver may ship to you as a flat-head. The top portion of the driver can be removed and flipped to give you access to the Phillips-head side!
Yes, this rental is only for the interface card and included hardware. If you don’t already have a compatible mixer, we have this card included with the TASCAM Sonicview 16XP with IF-MA64/EX MADI Interface Card available for rent!
You’ll also need a source and/or a destination device that supports MADI. We have some compatible Switchers in our Recommended Section as well as MADI Converters.
