While you may have rented a cable-attached version of this plate before, this updated iteration of the Tilta V-Mount battery plate for FX6 seats into the camera’s BP-U battery compartment and uses a revised circuit board to pass power directly from compatible micro V-Mount batteries via battery contacts.
Please note, the Gold Mount version of this plate is not equipped with with BP-U battery contacts and powers the camera via an integrated DC output cable.
