Canon RF Mount. This version of the Venus Optics Laowa 12mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine is only compatible with Canon RF-mount cameras, and was designed for RF-mount cinema cameras with up to full-frame sensors. It does not work with Canon EF-mount cameras.

Ultra-Wide Cine Lens. The Venus Optics Laowa 12mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine’s ultra-wide 122° angle of view makes it great for landscape shooting, outdoor shooting, and working in interior locations where space is at a premium.

Virtually Distortion-Free. This lens’s rectilinear ten-group/sixteen-element optical design keeps distortion at an absolute minimum, a rarity for an ultra-wide lens. Its seven-blade aperture gives you pleasing bokeh; unique wide and shallow depth of field; and an extremely close seven-inch focusing distance.

Professional-Grade Cinema Housing. The aperture and focusing rings boast standard 0.8 mod gears so that you can easily install a follow-focus system. The extended 270° smooth focus throw gives you accurate focus pulling. This lens’s lightweight, compact design means it’s great for hand-held shooting, and that you can use it on gimbals.
