Nikon Z-Mount. This ultra-wide angle lens was designed for use on Nikon Z-mount cameras.
Versatile Ultra-Wide Prime. The Venus Optics Laowa 17mm f/4 Zero-D’s ultra-wide 104° angle of view, and virtually distortion-free performance make it great for astrophotography, architectural photography, and interiors. Its 86mm filter compatibility means it excels at landscape shooting, while you can use its 9.8-inch minimum focusing distance and ultra-wide perspective to get great bokeh shots and wide-angle close-ups. The f/4 aperture makes it great for shooting with available light.
Tilt/Shift. We know- this is an odd-looking, not your usual run-of-the-mill lens. There’s a good reason! The tilt and shift capabilities of this 17mm create a unique design, offering ±12mm shift adjustment to correct converging vertical lines, and ±10° tilt adjustment to manipulate the focal plane and expand the depth-of-field.
Virtually Distortion-Free. This lens’s rectilinear 12-group/18-element optical design keeps distortion at an absolute minimum. It includes two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements which help to eliminate chromatic aberrations and color fringing. The Frog Eye coating keeps the front element clear of dust and moisture, allowing you to work in inclement conditions.
Fully Manual Lens. This is a fully manual lens that provides no electronic communication with the camera. You must manually make all aperture and focus adjustments on the lens itself, and lens information is not transferred through EXIF data. A dedicated switch lets you quickly de-click the manual aperture ring for smooth, quiet rotation that’s great for video.
