Yes! As of Q1 2026, the Sony PXW-FS7 4K appears on the list of approved cameras for Netflix. We expect this list to be updated regularly.

Can this camera record RAW-format video?

This camera can’t record RAW-format video without the Sony XDCA FS7 Extension and a RAW capable external recorder.

Does this rental include the infrared remote?

This rental doesn’t include the infrared remote by default. If you need one for your shoot, please leave a note asking for us to add a Sony RMT-845 remote in the Special Instructions box at checkout and we’ll include one at no additional cost.

Does this camera include a USB cable for transferring footage?
