Optical Excellence. Looking for a lightweight viewing companion for your next birdwatching adventure or scenery observation? The Zeiss Conquest 10×42 HDX Binoculars may be the perfect fit for you! Best used for daylight nature and wildlife viewing, this pair of peepers offer a stunning 66° apparent field of view, a 345’ linear field of view, and a close 6.6’ minimum focusing distance for nearby birds, insects, and flowers.
Fog-Resistant and Weather Sealed. When temperatures and weather fail to work with your outdoor plans, you can count on the nitrogen-filled, O-ring sealed optical tubes to reject any fog or water that may affect your viewing. While the tried-and-true Zeiss T* antireflective coating ensures your imaging is as clear as possible, an additional LotuTec coating protects your lenses from any water, oil, or sap that may find its way on the glass. Thanks to the nitrogen-filled and O-ring-sealed optical tubes, these magnesium-constructed binoculars can be submerged in water up to 13’.
Build and Handling. Through its extra-low dispersion glass lenses, the 10×42 HDX delivers exceptionally crisp imaging with little distortion and incredible color rendition. The closed-bridge configuration ensures durability and the whole thing is covered with a protective slip-resistant rubber. The distance between the eyepiece and your eyes is about 17mm, which is a comfortable amount for seeing the entire field of view without vignetting and is excellent for those in glasses. This is further supported by twist-up eyecups. A tripod mount thread is located on the bridge but these binoculars do not have threading for filters.
