The Zoom PodTrak P8 Multitrack Podcast Recorder takes what used to be multiple units for mic preamps, effects, mixing, monitoring, and recording and combines them into one compact podcast recorder. Six dynamic or phantom powered supported XLR inputs to a finished stereo podcast recording, the PodTrak P8 simplifies all the steps in between to make the process as quick as possible. Echo-Free Remote Call-Ins. The P8 allows remote collaborators to easily integrate into a recording by plugging a smart phone directly into the 3.5mm TRRS port, connecting to a computer over USB for use with conferencing software, or both at the same time. The P8’s built-in mix-minus feature prevents echoes so your guests never have to worry about feedback.

Independent Output Control. This recorder features six discrete 3.5mm (1/8") headphone outputs with volume adjustment knobs for each as well as two balanced 1/4" TRS monitor outputs.

Powered by AC or AA Batteries. This recorder operates on power from the included AC adapter or four AA batteries which aren’t included with this rental.
