Monitor and Record Simultaneously. With the Atomos 7" Shogun Monitor/Recorder, your DSLR, mirrorless, or cine-style camera now has access to built-in network connectivity. This unit also offers cloud-based workflow options like ProRes Raw and H.265 recording that can be sent directly from the camera to the cloud, and 4K H.265 capture for publishing to the cloud. Atomos has partnered with industry-leading camera manufacturers to ensure a smooth workflow with all the perks with a broad range of cameras.
AtomOS 11. This updated Shogun offers the brand-spankin new AtomOS 11 operating system. This operating system features EL Zone exposure-referenced colorized images, ARRI false color, and new scheduled recording and playback tools. Additionally, there is an increased number of standard codecs that include up to 6K Apple ProRes Raw, DNxHD, and H.265.
Optional NDI TX. Utilizing NDI in live production has become increasingly more popular over the years, and now, your Shogun can be apart of that. This monitor/recorder duo offers optional NDI transmission that will send high-quality video over W-Fi using incredibly low bandwidth requirements. The included Wi-Fi and AirGlu RF antennas ensure stable transmission across the board.
Ultrabright Screen. This Shogun’s 7-inch touchscreen offers 2000 cd/m² brightness and is viewable in a wide range of locations and lighting situations, making it an ideal choice for your production.
Tough, Durable Build. Let’s get into some specifics that make this the ideal candidate for your production. Fueling this monitor/recorder is easy with the integrated L-Series battery plate, but you can also utilize the included DC cable. Mounting options for this device include 3/8”-16 threads on the top and bottom, but you can add a separately available 1/4”-20 adapter if needed. Quickly checking your recording status is simple with this device thanks to the built-in tally light. With this package, we include a Master Caddy III, which will house an SD card up to 4TB and fit snug into the built-in slot.
