No LCD, No Problem. Unlike newer versions of this controller, the DJI RC-N1 V2 Remote Controller does come with an integrated LCD screen for monitoring. Despite this, attaching a smartphone or tablet to this unit is incredibly easy, and your device can even be charged while using the controller. With a typical runtime of about 6 hours, the runtime is cut down to roughly 4 hours if you do decide to charge your device while getting those awesome drone shots. No need to worry about losing balance with the extra weight of a smartphone; even with a mobile device attached, previous users have confirmed that although the weight is noticeable, the controller maintains its balance seamlessly.

Handheld Versatility. The multi-faceted nature of this remote controller is unmatched, and is compatible with more DJI drones than other versions. While it isn’t a smart controller, this unit still packs a punch with features. This device matches with flight modes such as Cine, Normal, Sport, and Tripod on drones like the Mavic 3 and Mavic Air 2.

Ports, Dials and Buttons. While this device doesn’t look like much, and is arguably less fancy with features compared to its competitors, it still works like a charm for your drone control needs. The RC-N1 packs features like a gimbal control dial for controlling the tilt on the gimbal, an Fn button to zoom, a customary flight mode switch, a USB-C port, and a flight pause and return to home function that share the same button.
