Mars 400S PRO Wireless Kit. The Mars 400S PRO wireless system is an HDMI/SDI HD wireless video system that supports video transmission up to 1080p60 from up to 400’ away, with an average latency of approximately 0.08 seconds. We also carry the updated Mars 400S PRO II Wireless Video System.
Batteries NOT Included. The Mars 400S Pro system is compatible with Sony NP-F L-type batteries but we do not include a battery power solution with this rental. If you’d like a RX that includes batteries, we offer the Mars 400S Pro Wireless Video System with a complete power kit here, and we also have several compatible batteries available as separate rental items here. Multicast-Capable System. This kit includes one transmitter and one receiver but can be expanded as needed. The TX can transmit to up to two receivers at once or one receiver and up to two mobile devices running the Hollyview App for Android or iOS. An additional receiver is available here as a separate rental item.
Integrated Shoe Mount. The Mars 400S Pro comes equipped with an integrated cold shoe mount and locking disk for quick and convenient installs on common cameras and accessories. The shoe base’s 1/4-20 inset ensures maximum mounting versatility.
Realistic Wireless Expectations. While this kit is rated to receive wireless transmission from distances up to 400’, performance varies greatly from one location to the next. In our experience, we’ve found that use at the maximum distance is generally unreliable under normal circumstances due to RF interference.
