Built to Last. The LEE 150 × 170mm Soft Graduated 0.9 ND filter is constructed from optical resin, making it less likely to shatter if an accident occurs. In addition to durability, the optical resin helps to maintain high clarity. The included filter pouch protects the filter when not in use. The SW150 Mark II Filter System Holder is rented separately, but is the recommended filter holder for this item.

Controlled Exposure. This filter is uniquely designed to control brightness in difficult lighting & balance exposure in high-contrast situations. The filter’s design places the 0.9, 3-stop density at the top of the filter and then transitions to clear by the center of the filter for a gradual, natural appearance. The soft-edge transition between the density and clear areas is well-suited for photographing scenes with undefined a horizon line or when working with wide-angle lenses.
