XQD Cross-Compatibility. The CFexpress Type B media format uses the same form factor as XQD. This means CFexpress cards may work in compatible XQD cameras that have updated firmware to support the CFexpress format. However, older XQD-equipped cameras support only the max write speeds of XQD and will not reach the ultra-fast specs of these newer CFexpress Type B cards.
