The Sony LAEA5 Adapter lets you use A-mount lenses with E-mount cameras and camcorders. Key features include:
A-Mount Lens to E-Mount Camera. The Sony A-Mount Lens to E-Mount Adapter (LAEA5) lets you use a wide range of Sony A-mount lenses on E-mount cameras. It provides full-frame coverage on crop-frame E-mount cameras.
Maintains Lens and Camera Functionality. The LAEA5 supports compatible lenses’ corrective features, such as aperture-control and autofocus functions. It supports phase-detection autofocus in order to provide Real-Time Tracking and Eye AF functions, in addition to continuous shooting up to 11 fps with AF/AE tracking. This adapter even supports AF and AE tracking with lenses that don’t have internal motors when you’re using them with the Sony Alpha A7R IV and a6600 cameras.
Transfers EXIF Data. The LAEA5 transfers EXIF data to the camera to make post-production and file management easier.
